At Saint Paul Mountain, we believe that great wine and cider is born from passion, patience, and a deep respect for nature. With a focus on traditional winemaking techniques and sustainable practices, we strive to produce wines that reflect the essence of our terroir and the unique characteristics of each grape varietal. Winning both State and International awards we are an Estate Winery. Estate wines are often highly regarded for their quality, as they are produced from grapes grown, produced and bottled on the winery's own property, allowing for greater control over the entire winemaking process.

Our Wines and Ciders
Our signature Chardonnay is well know for its aromas of apples, pineapple and apricot with a a round, crisp finish of lemon and pear. Aged in stainless steel, the Chardonnay grape flavors shine through.
Named in honor of our owner's late sister; a hard-working member of Ward family. Aged in stainless steel & has the aromas of apple and apricot with tropical notes; a hint of sweetness, but still leaves a crisp and refreshing finish. Cheers to Betty Jean!
Our stainless steel-aged Vidal Blanc begins with aromas of mandarin orange is followed by flavors of lemon zest, tart green apple and a lively crisp acidity.
"NC BEST OF SHOW" A semi-sweet style Vidal Blanc, this pleasantly structured wine is reminiscent of orange blossom, key lime, and melon. The vibrant, flirtatious finish pleases sip after sip.
This dry Riesling will take you by delightful surprise! Aged in stainless steel, this unique Riesling aromas of Mandarin orange, tropical flavors of mango and papaya, and a tart grapefruit finish.
Our semi-sweet Riesling embodies both fragrance and flavors of peach, kiwi and pear. With a soft, silky finish. This is a perfect sippin' with friends kinda wine!
A dry sparkling Rosé blend made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, Cynthiana and a Chardonnay grapes. Roseraie is French for Rose garden, highlighting its floral aroma. Perfect for your parties and toast!
Translating from French to "red and white," our sparkling Rose is a semi-sweet treat! Notes of juicy strawberry and stone fruit are lifted by a light effervescence. It is refreshing on its own or pairs beautifully with your summer-time cookout!

Our driest Cider is Crisp, Clean and effervescent with subtle apple notes shinning through.
This semi-dry Cider has is clean and fresh with more apple notes than the Bald Top. Flavors from the skin leave a crisp finish.
Our original Cider was once named Wallace #1. With a sweet start and a tart finish, this is the most popular of our Ciders.
This Cider is delicately sweet all the way through like a golden delicious apple.
This sweet Cider has more prominent tannins that create rich apple aroma combine with flavors from the apple skin that are reminiscent of Fuji apples.
This Pommeau-style Spirit is traditionally made in Normandy France with a mixture of Apple Brandy and Hard Cider. As a result of years in French Oak, it tastes like a viscous Calvados Brandy without the burn. Light vanilla and butterscotch notes compliment the deep apple flavors.
Rachel is sweet and warm. Made with distilled Chardonnay grapes, this cream dessert Sherry has delicious hazelnut aromas complimented by buttery, warm flavors.
